    I am from Australia but originally spotted these in Colorado and chose to buy over the internet. The quality of the leather is amazing and the boots have been very well made. I am a true size 9 (or 40) but ordered these half a size down and I don't regret it. If you wanted to wear very thick socks I would recommend buying in your normal size but I have been quite happy with a slightly smaller fit (no slipping inside the boot) and can still wriggle my toes quite comfortably. I bought these in burnt red and they are lovely!

    This boot lives up to the reputation of Frye boots. It's sturdy, well-built, but beautiful to look at. (I bought mine in burnt red, which is a nice subdued color ... looks great with jeans, khakis, olive cargo pants, etc.) I normally wear an 8.5, so I ordered that. The fit is quite roomy, and I could probably do with an 8.0. But I'm glad to have the extra room for thick socks ... and just for general comfort.

    Pretty avid day hiker, looking for a comfortable, cool, lightweight pair of hiking boots. I found them. Love them. They are sweet looking, well made, light weight beauties. What more can I say? Worth the investment.
