They are lovely, just a bit rugged-looking. And of course, they are high-quality and very durable -- the price is great for these boots. I bought my regular size and they fit just fine.Items of note: since these are pull-on boots, you will have to be careful about judging whether they will fit your legs. The top part is soft leather, so there is some give to them. I'm 5'2, 125 pounds. My legs are moderately muscular and probably on the high side of average thickness. These boots fit around my calves pretty close to perfectly. I even have them on over some skinny pants right now. Be honest with yourself: if your legs are really skinny or you have very bulky calves, these probably won't work for you.
