    I just received these boots from Amazon and I am sending them back immediately because they are too big. I am between sizes (9 1/2 and 10) and ordered the 10s, thinking I'd be wearing socks and wanted to make sure my boots were comfy. So, my impression is that they run on the big side, size-wise. I have average length legs and the boots come to just below my knee. They are truly a knee-high boot and don't seem very slouchy because of the zipper (at least not in new condition.) What I can say with confidence, however, is that these boots are gorgeous, classy, and comfy and look very similar to the pictures online.

    All I can say is that when these boots arrived I was floored they are amazingly beautiful the leather is so soft and the Cognac color is gorgeous . If your thinking about buying these boots think no more they are so worth it! I got compliments galore on these boots and they are very comfortable .

    Absolutely gorgeous. The leather on the upper shaft is soft, so that when you squat down, the back of the boot doesn't dig into the back of your knees like some boots do. Ran true to size for me -- I'm a 6 in regular shoes and order 6.5 in boots, and this was no different. I got the black -- it's not a true inky black, more of a brownish black, but it doesn't detract from the appearance. It came to right below the kneecap for me, and I'm 5'3".
