| 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful:  Beautiful Neutral, By Anonomous "Anonomous" (Upstate NY) - See all my reviews This review is from: FRYE Women's Clara Clog (Apparel) Tan is light, neutral, go w/ everything color- It's "antiqued", which means the surface of the leather is pre-roughened up just a bit, and the leather has some darker shading at the toes- But it's NOT brown, like Frye's normal "Tan" color is- In contrast, this is a Summer version of the Tan color, it's a much lighter & neutral beige. This purposeful pre-weathering of the leather is fantastic, so you don't worry about every little scuff & scrape that's inevitably going to occur on this pair of expensive, frequently worn shoes. Frye's clogs are a LOT more stable than Dansko or Hanna Andersson or Sanita's- Frye's do NOT have the tendency to "snap" your ankle off to the side when you step on a pebble, risking a broken ankle, like the others do. This heel is constructed for stability. Unfortunately, I have a very wide foot, & this clog was just too narrow/tight on the entire front/ball of my foot. Returning.
