The quality is, well they're Frye boots so the name really speaks for itself. They are so comfortable with super smooth, soft, supple leather. Most boots have that kind of stack heel which when you are wearing them all day is not very comfortable. These boots have the perfect heel even if your on your feet all day like me. I have big calves and was worried that these boots would be to snug or not fit at all in this area (which is usually the case with boots for me). These were perfect though. Size runs VERY TRUE so don't go up or down even a half size or these won't fit. Don't let the price of these dissuade you from buying them.
